Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Today, I’m repeating words I posted sometime ago from St. Faustina’s Diary. They continue to echo in my heart:
Mary is both our Mother and Model, and so like the saints, we need to obey Jesus, telling us from His Cross, “Behold your Mother.”
Let us seek to be instructed by Mary as even Jesus as a Child was instructed by her. Let us learn from her the quietness we need, and the hiddenness, she shows us in her attention to God in prayer. Let us unite ourselves with Him in our thoughts, words and deeds, as she did. Today, as perhaps never before, we need to be “pleading for humanity and preparing the world for the coming of God”.
We do not know the day or the hour of His coming for each of us personally; nor do we know the time of His Coming at the end of this world, but our Faith assures us: He will come again.
Mary, Mother of the Church, refuge of sinners, intercede for us. Be our Instructress. Pray with us, “pleading for humanity”.
Mary, Star of the New Evangelization, guide us. May we learn from you to bring Jesus to others “preparing the world for the second coming of God”.

- Mary is my Instructress, who is ever teaching me how to live for God. My spirit brightens up in Your gentleness and your humility, O Mary…
Our lives cannot be exactly as Our Mother Mary’s was, and she is not asking for “carbon copies”. Each of us is called to holiness; to be a unique and unrepeatable reflection of God. We can trust Mary to help us as she helped St. Faustina and all the saints.
- …when I was praying, the Mother of God told me, Your lives must be like mine: quiet and hidden, in unceasing union with God, pleading for humanity and preparing the world for the second coming of God.
