Any non-catholic christians, what is your most basic definition of the requirements for salvation. If you think said rule doesn’t apply to catholics in general, or catholics specifically, please explain why. I am not saying all or most believe catholics aren’t christians or ‘saved’ whatever that means. I simply want to know how you view the difference.

Most basic.
“For God so loved the World that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” Seems it applies to us all.

The requirements we must fulfill to go to heaven are to keep the Law 100% perfectly from conception until natural death.

Obviously, we can’t do that.

So, Jesus kept the requirements for salvation on our behalf. He was punished on our behalf to bear the penalty for the requirements that we were not able to keep. This applies not only to Catholics but to every man, woman, and child throughout the course of human history.
 
what about the other denominations that believe they have to be born again or something like that to be saved?

Everyone should believe that we have to be born from above (Gk. anothen) in order to be saved because Jesus said so.

So at least we have one requirement down that is necessary for salvation. What are the others?
