In the old testament God makes a convent with Israel and Israel turns to idols. It’s alot of metaphors
In the old testament Israel is God’s wife. But when he sent Jesus to earth to make a new convent (sorry I really spell lol) and the church is the bride of Christ but in time Some left Christ and his church. This a big allegory As a call for Christ to come home to Holy Mother Church.

I am home. Atheism is the truth, in my opinion. Science leads the way to a brighter and happier future. I believe religion has become obsolete and unnecessary, in my honest opinion.

Obsolete? Wouldn’t that make your post irrelevant here on a Catholic forum?

Peace!!!

Science leads the way to a brighter and happier future.
Science can lead the way to a better future. But it’s often used for nefarious purposes too or some advancements have negative side effects.

I took ”in my opinion” to be a polite add-on.

We feel what we believe is The Truth, and that people not agreeing are mistaken. This can be shared more or less smoothly, as above.

I joined the religious society of friends and I feel very much at home. I’ve been going to their meetings for a while now but it’s so satisfying to go to them knowing I am part of that faith and I look forward to learning even more about them.

I am home in a catholic church, but not in the roman catholic church 🙂

Latin Church is just a rite there are many rites In union with rome
I think 23-24

Sure, but those rites account for about 1-3% of Catholics. The rest are Latin.

There are 23 Eastern Catholic Churches sui juris. There are 6 rites, five Eastern and the Latin rite. Didn’t mean to veer off from the original topic.

So the Latin rite isn’t “just a rite”, it’s essentially the de facto rite when talking about Catholicism.
Well, you managed to offend every Eastern Catholic on Earth in one sentence.
