I’ve tossed around the idea of getting a Diurnale Romanum, the Liturgia Horarum, or the Breviarium Romanum, but I am not fluent in Latin (I can follow most of the time, but sometimes need the English as a crutch. The upcoming Baronius Press traditional Breviary looks interesting, but the English is more modern. Also, I love the portability of the MD.
All things combined, I think I’ll stick with the MD even after the Baronius breviary comes out.
Incidentally, I asked Shawn Tribe, the editor of the New Liturgical Movement blog what he prays, and he said he prefers the MD…and will stick with that version even after Baronius releases their breviary, too.
