Loving God,

We lift up our intentions for our friend tb and her family today, and ask for your gifts of mercy, hope, and strong faith during the difficult trials they are facing at this time. Please grant strength and trust to tb and comfort the family members who need your love most now. Please help all to persevere and to know your love for them as they continue on the journey of life and endure the suffering and challenges on the way. Please grant special blessings to tb and her family, dear Lord.

We pray in the name of your beloved son Jesus, the Good Shepherd of your people.

dying on the Cross in the presence of Mary,
pierced with a lance that drew blood and water from your side,

taken down and placed in the arms of your Sorrowful Mother,

horribly bruised and marked with five wounds,
annointed for burial and placed in a tomb,
