Nobody said it “should” be changed. However, this was an example that was used in the thread to be compared to women covering their heads. This was from an earlier post. “Wearing headcoverings is a discipline, not a doctrine. Priestly celibacy is also not a doctrine but rather a discipline. I don’t see that changing any time soon (although it could) unless there is a very good reason.” So, I was answering his analogy, not proposing that it should be “changed”.Who is it out there that has said priestly celibacy should be “changed”?
