Personally I have to believe some women would die from illegal abortions because there are always people who will try to “beat the system.” The answer though to the antagonist who states more women will die is, more innocent life will be saved. Of course no one would hopefully want adult women to die but the aim of the catholic in the right to life "debate’ is to save the innocent unborn.

As well if abortion became outlawed a mindset of what an evil it really is might guide some misguided women. I believe I saved my daughter from abortion, and although it was a great challenge to me, I know I saved an innocent life. It is tough sometimes to argue your point but we always have to reduce abortion to what it really is.

When they say , “right to choose”, you say, “choose what?” It forces them to break it down. They may answer with , “choose to abort”. You say, “abort what?” Sometimes some light shines though.

So true johnnyjones!!! 👍

These Shameless idiots kill their own kids and then have the audacity to say, that they have the right to choose!

Wonder if anyone realizes that these so called rights they say they own is because their parents once upon a time spared them from being aborted!! Lol! :hmmm: Hypocrites! 😃
Then we’d never have these smarting around about their rights to snuff out an innocent child’s right to life

Rather exercise the right to choose to not have sex when you’re not ready to accept the possibility of a baby & not by giving some stupid excuse to kill the child, because of your own lack of self control!

Doesn’t abortion destroy a human life? If abortion destroys a human life, then abortion is about violence. It is about bloodshed, and it is about victims. The right to life for the unborn is absolute. We, as a nation, do not recognize those rights. The unborn are the invisible members of our society. We are called to stop the bloodshed of the most helpless members of our society. Abortion is about justice.

The law protects life, despite anyone’s theological beliefs or lack of religious beliefs. I want the protection of all human beings! The law does not care about beliefs. The law just regulates actions. Subjective religious beliefs do not determine the law, nor should it. There is such a thing as Truth with a capital “T.” However, the life of a baby should not hinge upon everyone acknowledging that truth. The freedom of choice and the freedom to be an unbeliever never give anyone the right to destroy others.

Who should receive protection under the law? Verifiable scientific evidence is the criteria to determine who receives protection under the law. That evidence exists. I do not think that even abortionists argue that the baby in the womb is not a baby. After all, we live in the age of fetoscopy and fetal surgery.

The bottom line is this:** Human life needs protection now! **

The phrase, “back alley abortions”, is more propaganda than reality. Women who have had abortions are uniting under the banner, “Silent No More.” These women testify that they were wounded by abortion. In short, they were lied to. Abortion did not solve their problems. Abortion brought on more problems than they ever dreamed possible. The problems that these women encountered cover the whole range of psychological and physical wounds. “Post-abortion syndrome” is the term to describe these wounds from abortion.

Is abortion a legitimate medical procedure?** If it is legitimate, then why isn’t it following the same standards as other medical procedures? **Why is abortion the most unregulated surgical industry in this country? ** An abortionist does not have to have a specialty in OB-GYN. There are usually no licensing requirements for the staff of an abortion clinic. Why does the abortion industry continue to attract the losers and washouts of the medical community? Where is the emergency medical equipment in an abortion clinic? If you are a supporter of Roe vs. Wade, then you must implement Roe vs. Wade. The physician must insure the safety of the women who get an abortion. I am not aware of any laws that protect women who go to an abortion clinic. If you do find such laws, let me know.

Learn how we and the media were lied to, starting in 1969.

You could also contact NOW and ask where their information comes from. NOW was founded in 1966.

Abortion is an unsafe procedure in and of itself, regardless of being legal or not - not every woman who enters an abortion clinic - even a legal abortion clinic - ever comes out again.

There was also never such a thing as a literal back alley abortion - illegal abortions were done under pretty much the same conditions that legal abortions are done in today. Most abortions are still done in stand-alone clinics, and the distance to the hospital is still the same today as it was back when they were operating illegally.
