I did not know. But since the priest incurred in mortal sin in doing this, should I go to confession again tomorrow and confess the sins that this priest absolved today?
If the priest just gave you absolution without you confessing your sins, then you need to confess them again, even though they are absolved. The reason is you need to receive graces in order to avoid sin in the future. You don’t get that from general absolution. But be sure to tell the priest that you have already received absolution for the sins, so he doesn’t impart absolution.
(Without directly commenting on the original post as to what happened and as to the question of if there was absolution etc not much time at the moment- at this point the question is what to do regarding confession - I would note that if they had mortal sins then certainly they* should go to confession as soon a possible* )
Actually a person would confess AND be now absolved in confession.
In fact even in emergency situations with legit general absolution - one is to STILL to go confess any mortal sins as soon as is possible (like they survive the plane crash…) (and yes receive absolution in that confession).
So if there was a valid absolution or not -even in a case of legit general absolution (as when a plane is about to crash) the person with mortal sins still needs to go to confession as soon as possible given the opportunity anyhow (*Canon 963) …so bottom line…go to confession.

My young person in Christ, you need to relax and know the infinite mercy and love of God. Satan wants nothing more than for you to be in despair and think that you are separated from God. You are doing well but I think that you are a bit scrupulous. Our God created you out of pure love and He is not there to condemn you. You are truly repentant so God will not expect the impossible. You recognized the need to confess, you went to confession, now let God be God. When the dust settles go back to a priest either in or outside the confessional and discuss how you deal with sin and forgiveness. God loves you unconditionally. You are not rejecting Him and I would pray that all teenagers would see the need for this awesome sacrament of reconciliation. God bless you and carry on in the peace that only Christ can give.
The question of if there was a valid absolution or not is somewhat moot regarding the question of if one is to go to confession or not - one is still to go to confession anyhow. (and know that Jesus the Good Shepherd loves you and is pleased with your coming to Confession! In him is true life!)
