If it were me I would simply ask them how they know the things they are saying are true. When I was an evangelical I was told many things about the Catholic Church by people who were decidedly not Catholic and hated Catholicism. It was when I searched the Catechism for myself that I found out that everything I had been told about the RC Church was wrong. Everything.
If you need a quick reference to discount their accusations, the official church teaching on all these things can be found easily in the Catechism. They will find ways around this, of course, but you can show them definitively that what they think and what the church teaches are very, very different. And you can tell them you know at least one Protestant (me) who has found the Roman Catholic Church to be extremely Christ centered and worships no one but God the Father.

One, if they think Mary is dead, then they must not believe in life after death which is what atheists think. How sad. Two, you could say, "If you seriously want to know what the Catholic Church teaches, and not just what you THINK she teaches, read the Catechism of the Catholic Church, then get back to me. (You should also read it.)

Catholic don’t worship Mary but honor her **Catholic worship God (HOLY TRINITY) and not Mary but we only honor her as the Mother of God ,as He does too.**Matthew 7:21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father in heaven. 22 On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many deeds of power in your name?’ 23 Then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; go away from me, you evildoers.’
