Please look at this webpage of a parish in my diocese.

This just seems so wrong.

This seems like the polar opposite of this Catholic ministry:

I care because I have two family members w/ SSA. This comes close to home.

They don’t give much information. From the words, I couldn’t figure out specifically whether or not they support celibacy. That in itself is suspicious.

There are certainly some red flags. The use of the rainbow flag usually means support of the “gay lifestyle.” And their use of “gay” as opposed to “same-sex attracted” is also a little suspicious.

I checked into their other resources, and I’m not thrilled. I’d call them and ask about just what they offer their SSA parishioners. If you don’t like what you hear, look for another parish.

ya. um the first one DEFINATELY seems wrong to me- like they’re promoting being gay and almost making a joke out of it. i see a problem there.
the second one though seems fine IMHO because from what i know the Church recognizes that some people do have homosexual feelings and that they should just remain abstinent, and from what i could tell that’s what that site was promoting.
