Can’t add any advice that wasn’t given. You’ll both be in my prayers. Call up a few cloistered monasteries and ask them for prayer in this matter.

Broken, can you remember why you choose to marry your wife?

Do you respect her?

Do you share the same values?

What do you hope to obtain by going to school, you said to be creative, there is no greater creation that your children they will be your masterpiece.

Remember why your your doing all of this.

Your wife called you and acoholic, told you to get sterile and you did, to go to school and you did, what’s next, being in a relationship is not following every suggestion to please someone else, you should examine your motive’s and determine if this is right, true, Godly.

Use your logic and your reasonig powers before you decide to act on another suggestion from your wife, have you ever thought she could be unbalanced, disfunctional, or have flaws?

Your wife appears to be extremely selfish. Have you flat-out pointed this out to her?

That appears to be at the core of your problems.

Begin acting like the head of the household. If your wife is acting selfish, demand that she stop. **Today. **

Don’t be afraid to act like a man. Christian families need Christian men.

Read any of Dr. Laura’s books on the “The care and feeding of …” They point out that Christian households need a strong father figure. That would be you.

She decided to pull both our older children from public school because (1) our eldest son was picked on by bullies and (2) she was sick and tired of the schooling system and their lack of communication with parents. I kept on telling her that if she would just stop ‘babying’ our son and show him how to stand up for himself that this would not happen so much. That he should talk to his teachers, talk to the principal… SAY something! But he would not do it because he kept on saying ‘they do not do anything about it’. So, my wife said, ‘I am pulling him out’… now I wanted to show my son how to stand up to bullying, and fight in self defense… but he preferred his mother’s reasoning and huddled next to her, and she would not agree to anything I said.
I also grew up in a military household. So I know were you are coming from.

BUT…

Standing up to bullies is rarely a good idea. If your son didn’t have the backing of the school system, and it sounds like he didn’t, standing up the to bullies could get him hurt or at the very least in trouble.

I don’t know about where you live, but the rules in our local school system says that everyone involved in fighting will be suspended. Bullying in schools can be a major problem. And should be worked on by both parents and the administration. It can’t be handled by a child.

On that note, I home school. I can’t imagine being in a place where if someone hits me and I hit back, I am in trouble.🤷
