Please help...Santeria has overtaken my husband

Hi…can someone please help me. My husband used to tell me frequently that “I was the love of his life, never forget this”… only to find him engaging in this Santería stuff and going to Columbia 4 times now this past year. Every time he comes back he is more and more distant…now he’s told me he doesn’t love me the way he did before and wants to divorce me. I guess from what I found out he’s now a Babalu in this Santería stuff…I love this man with all my heart but he’s changed drastically and is it this Santería stuff?..I am catholic and never partaken in any of this stuff, nor do I care to…can someone please help and thank you

I would probably say most likely yes your husband is being influenced by the devil through this Cult of Santeria. Santeria is not Catholicism in the slightest. It’s a syncretism of afro-caribbean paganism (specifically the Yoruba african slaves in Cuba) with enough Catholicism to fool uninformed and spiritually dead christians.

Seems to me that your husband is demonically obsessed with this Santeria cult. Please contact your priest right away. I’m praying for you both. I’m praying that an exorcist somehow gets involved and talks some sense into your husband before it’s too late.

Also, pray the rosary and the holy wounds Chaplet for your husband. He needs prayer more than ever.

God knows the intentions of every heart. He knows us better than we actually know ourselves ( as Jesus proved on many occasions ).

You seem to put your much faith in your husband…

Perhaps have you considered for a single moment Jesus is keeping his Holy protection over you… and testing you at the same time.

Basically what I’m saying is Love and Trust are two different things…

Love God with all your heart , Soul , Mind and Body. Remembering he loves you and your husband very much.

Stay true to your Father and pray for your husband. If he does not return then you know God had other plans for you.

Secrecy, going away, coming back more distant, not in love anymore and talk of divorce typically indicate infidelity.
