Dear Friends,
Depsite three weeks of telephone calls, e-mails and bad press, the American Girl doll company has refused to sever their ties to the pro-abortion group Girls Incorporated. As Arlington Catholic Herald columnist Elizabeth Foss put it, American Girl seems to care more about plastic babies than real ones.
AMERICAN GIRL BOYCOTT BEGINS
**
Today, the Pro-Life Action League is calling for a boycott of American Girl through the 2005 Christmas shopping season. Read all about it here:
prolifeaction.org/#boycott
I invite you to join this boycott in a material way by signing the League’s American Girl Boycott Pledge, here:

Our phone, e-mail and media campaign has already had an impact. American Girl has greatly downplayed their connection to Girls Inc. on their website. Girls Inc. has responded with a statement denouncing the “false, inflammatory” reports about their agenda.
SCHOOL CANCELS AMERICAN GIRL FUNDRAISER
Most recently, news outlets have reported that St. Luke School in
Brookfield, WI decided to cancel a lucrative American Girl fashion
show fundraiser because of the company’s links to abortion. The
pastor, Fr. Francis X. Malloy, commented, “Our integrity isn’t for
sale.”
Please consider sending a donation to St. Luke School to help make up for the money they sacrificed in order to maintain their integrity. You can send a check to:
St. Luke School
18000 W. Greenfield Ave.
Brookfield, WI 53045
Please let your friends and family know about the American Girl
boycott. Feel free to forward this message or send links to our home page.
Yours for Life,
Eric J. Scheidler
