We are having a hard time getting out of our house. Every time I think we’ve got a new place found and ready the deal falls through (the owner moves in, the owner changes his/her mind, the house is removed from the market, they put it up for sale instead…etc).

I’ve found a place within walking distance of our parish and school. Please help me pray tonight that we will be able to take our family there before the Nov. 1st deadline.

Please help us pray that the move will be a good and happy one and not traumatic.

Please help us pray that my husband’s family does not go after us in a bid to make money, either. They first tried to frighten us by saying taxes weren’t paid on the house we rented from his grandmother and it would be sold from under us, then they trumped up a lie about the amount we paid in rent and threatened us with an illegal eviction, and now they are claiming we need to make repairs to things that we did not cause/were damaged before.

Please pray with us that God will enter their lives and hearts and turn them away from evil…not only for our own sake but for theirs.

Please also continue to pray for my husband’s grandmother who lays dying with few interested so much in her care as in her assets.

Thank you.

Our Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy Name. Thy Kingdom come, Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day, our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen. :crossrc::signofcross:

Dear Lord, You have experienced the need for shelter when You were born in a stable in Bethlehem. Please guide and care for this family as they seek shelter. May they find a place that will best meet their needs. May the grandmother who has blessed them with her love, find love and blessings in her own life and may family members hearts be softened to more fully embrace Your love. Amen.

Memorare (Prayer to Our Lady)
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession, was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To you do I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy, hear and answer me. Amen

I am deeply sorry for all the problems you and your family are facing. Along with your own intentions (especially your intention for the wellbeing of those in your husband’s company, which is very charitable of you to pray for your enemies), I also pray that everyone involved in the situation may be protected from all sin, may renounce all sin, and may be forgiven of all their sins, strengthened in the hope and love of Christ to live in holiness and contrition, and I extend these prayers also to all those involved in corrupt businesses, to all those struggling to find a house, and to the elderly who are neglected. I particularly pray for your husband’s grandmother, that people may find the compassion and affection to visit her and help her, and that she may be consoled by the love of the Blessed Mother, who is always with her. I ask for the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the guardian angels of you, your family, those in your husband’s company, and particularly your husband’s grandmother, and St. Joseph, who was both a homemaker, an older person while he was providing for his family, and ran a business with the justice and charity with which all businesses should operate. God bless. 🙂

Eternal Father, I offer Thee the Most Precious Blood of Thy Divine Son, Jesus, in union with the Masses said throughout the world today, for all the holy souls in Purgatory, for sinners everywhere, for sinners in the universal Church, for those in my own home and within my family. Amen.

Hail, Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy, our Life, Our Sweetness and our Hope! To Thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve. To Thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this vale of tears. Turn then, most gracious advocate, Thine eyes of mercy toward us, and after this, our exile, show unto us the Blessed Fruit of Thy Womb, Jesus. O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary, pray for us, O Holy Mother of God, that we may be made worth of the promises of Christ.

Dear St. Joseph, you who know the urgency and anguish of not being able to find adequate shelter for your family, please intercede on behalf of knotanes and her family, that her grandmother-in-law is eased in her suffering of mind and body, that she may win eternal happiness in heaven with your Son, and that knotanes and her family are successful in finding a house that will be suitable for them for many years. In the Name of Jesus do we ask your intervention, that the will of our Father be done. Amen.

O glorious and holy Saint Michael, the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our safeguard against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray; and do Thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host, by the Divine Power of God cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who roam throughout the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.

Dear St. Joseph, chosen by God the Father to be the earthly father of His Only Son, Jesus Christ, Redeemer of the world, please intercede for the special intentions of knotanes and her family. In the Name of Jesus do we ask this special favor. Amen.
