Lord Jesus, please fill my heart with Your divine peace.
For my spirit is worried and anxious,
and my mind races and obsesses in fear.
I cannot help dwelling on my problems,
and the more I think about them,
the more despondent I become.
I feel like I’m falling into a dark abyss,
from which there is no return.
Calm me, Lord.
Steady me, and fill my heart with Your divine grace.

Lord, no matter what problems I have,
You are greater,
You are more powerful.
So I bring my sorrow to You.
Though I know my own will,
I do not know Your will Lord,
nor do I know how You will use this despair for my salvation.
I am ignorant of what good You will bring forth from this burden.
But Lord Jesus, I trust in You.
I trust in Your goodness and Your wisdom.
So I place myself in Your calming hands.
Please fill my heart and soul with Your peace.
Amen!
