I know it is not nice to write with capital letters but I needed to get your attention.
my parents had problems for years. somehow they kept their marriage going until last year when they finally got divorced. I know my dad has been a difficult person and my mom has been to proud and stubborn. I remember we had lots of good moments as a family but I also remember the bad moments, the fights the crying and hopelessness we all felt during the years. I know my parents still love each other, but they have signed the divorce papers even though they still live together.
I know it is a weird situation but it is that way at the moment. I have been praying that my parents reconcile and decide to stay together and get remarried but I am not really sure if that is going to happen, I just don’t know if God is listening to my prayers, perhaps I have been a bad, selfish person all my life, and maybe it doesn’t matter the amendments in my life perhaps god has already decided my parents should divorce and stay divorce and in time they will effectively go their separate ways.
I am not a child anymore, I am 35 years old, but this pains me to my very core, I think about this matter all the time but I try to remain calm, my wife doesn’t know that I am suffering because all this I try not to worry her and I put a good face and focus in our own problems but to be honest I could have thousands of problems and none at all and still I would wish my parents to remain happy and together.
I pray sometimes for my parents and for my family, but I would like to find a good prayer that I could pray to God for my parents. I am not going to say that I am unhappy in life because I feel I have been blessed with a wife such as mine but my parents divorce has indeed affected me because they are my parents and I would have wanted them to remain marriage. since there is nothing I can do to keep them together, perhaps I should reflect on my catholic faith and pray for a miracle.
so, if you could show me a prayer that I could offer to God I would greatly appreciate it. and if it is not too much to ask could you please pray for Victor and Amanda so they can think about their years married and remember that God united them in marriage to overcome the tumultuous path that we as a family had taken due to our own carelessness and separation from God.
thank you for taking the time to read this post.
