Please identify this Scapular (from Mexico)

My dear friend recently traveled Mexico. She kindly gave me this Scapular that she’d received from a Catholic sister in one of the villages. Can someone please (identify) or explain its meaning…? Thank you…!

That is the brown (Carmelite) scapular. Are you familiar with that one?

The side with Our Lady on it is Our Lady of Carmel. The other side with the “AM” means “Auspice Maria”, or “Under the protection of Mary”.

I would further note that if it’s two rectangles or squares of brown material joined like this, it’s always the Brown Scapular, regardless of the picture on it or whether there’s no picture. The pictures are optional. Often they will have something relating to Mary, but it’s not uncommon to see pictures of Jesus, the Cross, or many different saints.
