My depression has been so bad for the past few days, and I really don’t want this suffering to be wasted when it could be doing some good for the world, which is in such a sad state.

No one is an island, so they say, and I’m really struggling with feeling totally and utterly alone and friendless. Particularly today, I’ve been seeing friends and colleagues on social media celebrating the referendum results from Ireland today and I’m trying not to pass judgement on their beliefs, all I can do is empathise with the poor babies who are also unwanted and unloved.

I’ve prayed and cried and offered it up, and I’d like to invite you to join me, so then at least I won’t be alone in that as well.

They see it as a victory for “choice” and women “finally” having autonomy over their own bodies.
 
It’s society that has isolated itself, to be quite honest. Everyone lives in social media now. People praise superficiality and people keep their enemies as their friends because people know too much about their hypocrisy. Yet it’s the genuine ones that suffer.
 
Amen. I’ve seen the good that adoption could do in my own family - my sister couldn’t have kids of her own now she’s the mother of three, thanks to adoption. No one wants to hear that though. Women deserve better and so do the children.
