Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Code:
Please may I ask again... for your prayers, especially this week. My husband and I are offering an "Evangelization Workshop" tomorrow, hoping that those in attendance will be motivated to reach out, in particular, to Catholics not practicing their faith. Our "Returning Catholics" series will begin on Feb. 23 and continue during the 6 weeks of Lent.

It is heartbreaking to read the statistics of Catholics who have left. Our Workshop is to help Catholics to invite, lovingly, relatives, friends and neighbors whom they know to be Catholic to come back home, and let them know they have been missed! As of now, only one person has contacted us about the "Returning Catholics" series, but we know there are many out there waiting to be invited. Please keep us and all those who are needing to be stirred in heart in your prayers. Thanks.

I’ll pray for this intention before the Tabernacle.
May God bless you and your husband, and all these persons

Dear Trishie,

Thanks so much for your promise to pray before the Tabernacle. Jesus, hidden in the Eucharist, knows every heart that will be at the Workshop and He can work through us to reach others who need His love so very much.

It is so important for those who feel “separated, alienated, unloved” to discover the Lord Who loves each child He created and wants that child to be united with Him forever. Everything is Grace! Please continue to keep us in your prayers and those who are waiting for an invitation to come home!

Gratefully and prayerfully,
MariaChristi

Your very worthy cause will be in my prayers. God bless.
Dear svid,

Thanks so much for your prayers. Praying for the return of Catholics to the sincere practice of their faith, and praying for those desiring to help them come home is a cause I believe is one with God’s Heart.

I would add that our gaze goes even further, in our efforts to be part of the “New Evangelization”. We want to reach all who need God’s Love who may yet be unaware of His Love for them. Please keep up the prayers, and thanks again.

Lord, please grant success to this workshop. Please stir the hearts of those souls who are away from Your Church and move them to want to participate in this workshop. Help them to find their way home to you and Your Church. Fill the instructors with your holy Spirit and make them docile instruments in your hands for the conversion of souls. Bless this workshop and the people who will participate in it. Thank you, Lord, for hearing my prayer.

Dear ready,

Thanks very much for your reply and for your prayers. The return of Catholics to the practice of their faith is such an urgent need in the Church! Their gifts, given specifically for the building up of the Body of Christ in love, are sorely needed. Each soul is precious and missed by the Father at the table of His Word and Sacrament of His Body and Blood.

May the Lord of the Harvest send laborers into His Harvest. May the many Catholics who need to return, come back with zeal to do the Father’s Will, and share His Love with all the world. Mary, Star of the New Evangelization, intercede for us that we may bring Christ to others, as you did.

Praying for your intentions….

Lord Jesus, You have said, “Learn from me, for I am meek and humble of heart.” With confidence in Your loving heart which offers rest to weary souls, we come to You in this time of special need. In Your unfailing love, read the prayer that is written on our hearts, and grant the grace that we ask of You, in accordance with Your holy will. In Your name we pray. Amen.

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, and sought thy intercession, was left unaided. Inspired with this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother, to thee I come, before thee I stand sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate! Despise not my petitions, but, in thy mercy, hear and answer me. Amen.

Dear Kilo1Mike,

Thanks so much for your prayers. We had only 2 persons attend our fist session yesterday in the current “Returning Catholics” series, but both of them were grateful and plan to return next week. We are continuing to publicize the series and to pray that more will attend as we proceed. There are so many Catholics who need to come home! Please keep up the prayers!

Jesus, we trust in You!
Mary, Mother of the Church pray for us.
St. Joseph Guardian of Jesus and Mary, Patron of the Universal Church, pray for us.

Gratefully,
Maria Christi

Praying hard for your success.
Dear 244Rocket,

Thanks so much. There is no greater power than the power of prayer to bring success to our work! By God’s Grace we are doing whatever we can to encourage clergy and laity in our parish to seek out the “lost sheep” with Jesus, our Divine Shepherd. We have put announcements in our parish bulletin, and trifolds in the back of Church which can help parishioners to invite Catholics who have stopped practicing their faith to come to the “Returning Catholics” series. We have advertized the series in two local newspapers, the school newsletter and we have most recently asked the chaplains on the nearby military bases to announce the program.

This Sunday we are also including a petition in the Prayer of the Faithful, asking God’s grace upon all those who are away from the Church, that they may come home. This will be repeated each Sunday during the 6 week series. (I tried to have it included all year, but the pastor is permitting it only during the 6 week program – sorry about that!)

Your prayers, along with all the rest of us, for our brothers and sisters, I believe will be fruitful. We may not “see” all the fruit, because some persons can simply go to Confession, coming home to the Church without our being aware. God knows. I believe He loves our brothers and sisters infinitely more than we do and can do more than we can even hope for or imagine. Thanks again and keep up the prayers, please! 🙂

***Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb,
Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of death.

Amen

Dear MS_SURVEYOR,

Thanks so much for your prayer. One Hail Mary prayed with attention and devotion is more powerful that we can imagine. How tenderly those words sound in the ears of our hearts!

Jesus, Fruit of Mary’s womb, we trust in You!
May, Mother of the Church, pray for us.
St. Joseph great lover of Jesus and Mary, pray for us.
