Dear Lord, Please help Bix care for his puppy. May they be led to the best means of care in accordance with your holy will. Amen

Hi Bix, I cared for in an elderly rescue dog for several years-health challenges cand be so difficult. I read your opening note and wondered if there might be something in the environment to which s/he could be responding to adversely? An allergen of some sort, (food or external environment, flea allergy or even a reaction to soaps/shampoos) or perhaps a neighbor is using a herbicide/insecticide/ or the de-icing chemicals common in some parts of our country? It took nearly a year to heal the wounds on my adoptee; may God bless yours.
I will say and extra prayer tonight and please give your puppy and extra ear scritch from his supporters out West.
 
St. Francis, intercede we beg you to restore Bixby to vibrant good health and may he thrive in the care of his human companion, Bix.

Almighty Father, let Your glory shine forth in the healing of this one of Your creatures.

Please help Bixby in time of need,
You have made Bix the steward of Bixby.
If it is Your will, please restore him

Bix, understand that I still pray for your little guy even if I don’t post on this thread every day. Our pets bring us such joy when they’re healthy, and it’s so hard when they’re sick.

I thought I’d share a little bit about my little guy Monty, the crazy beagle. He’s a rescue, and when we got him was very shy and intimidated by everything. He’s grown past that, though, and this time of year he confirms our thought initially–we’re sure he was part of a hunting pack.

Rabbits abound in my development, and they’re particularly active at this time of the year. Especially in the middle of the night. And when Monty spots one from the window while I’m sleeping, he makes it known, long and loud, as only a beagle can!

Tonight he woke me up at 4 AM, and when I looked outside, I was charmed to see five rabbits cavorting on my back lawn. They were jumping over each other, running in circles, and all over the place. And Monty WANTED them!

I let him outside on his tie-out and watched: He went the length of the chain, froze, and kept them well in his sight, not making a noise. Lucky for those rabbits that the chain is sound and strong, and it confirmed my suspicions: This guy definitely was a hunter!

Give Bixby a belly rub for me, will you? And may St. Francis continue to look out for him!

Hi ~ thank you for the prayers. Yes, we have looked into EVERYTHING… Exhaustively. Your thoughts are similar to mine initially, but no luck.

However, he does seem better today. Thank you so much,

Please continue to pray. Bixby seems to be improving. Thank you and many prayers for blessings to all who have prayed and are keeping us in their prayers. I pray each day that God answers all your prayer needs and blesses you immensely for your kindness.

If you come across this thread, please know I continue to pray for all those I have been posting prayers for under prayer intentions as well as for others, but currently I’m … Just a little overwhelmed and stressed out. I decided it was best to make sure I took the time to continue to pray for you all, but hoping you understand that not posting regularly doesn’t mean you’re not being prayed for regularly. I’m hoping to take some quiet time and post a little later this week.
