Holy Mother, please intercede for us.
Hold the sorrowful, strengthen the fearful,
give aid to all needing help or healing,
assist those who are sick, in pain or suffering,
be with those needing peace, console the lonely,
comfort the lost or hopeless, guard the unborn,
pray for those who are dying or who have died,
protect those in danger, guide us from evil,
soften those with hardened hearts,
enlighten those who do not yet see truth;
may all who keep your sacred commemoration
experience the might of your assistance.
Amen.

Heavenly Father,
Please help Bixby in his time of need,
You have made Bix the steward of Bixby.
If it is Your will, please restore him
to health and strength.
I pray too for other animals in need.
May they be treated with the care and respect
deserving of all Your creation.
Blessed are You Lord God,
and holy is Your name for ever and ever
Amen

Heavenly Father, You have placed Maggie and Bixby in Bix’s care, for Your own glory and their mutual benefit. If it is Your Will, restore these creatures to good health and enable them to thrive in the care of Your servant, Bix. Through Jesus Christ Our Lord we ask this.

Hi~

Many thanks and much love to all who have kept me and Bix in their prayers. It’s been a rough six months or so, but your prayers helped in so many ways. The last year has been a roller coaster, but drum roll… Bix is doing fantastic! He has been healthy and well for at least 7-8 months!!! 🙂 Thank you all so very much for praying. He saw so many vets, specialists, etc ~ I know it was God answering these prayers that healed my big baby boy!

On a sad side note, he and his sis,Toots, are no longer with me… They are both healthy, happy, and well - living the life of doggie dreams with relatives of mine who have a much larger back yard than they did before as well as the pleasure of being spoiled and curling up on a sofa inside when they have tired themselves out from chasing squirrels and chipmunks. When I sold my home, the plan I had of where, when and how I was moving…didn’t come together as planned. I was unable to find a home in the time frame and budget I had with a backyard large enough for my two big, four legged babies… After much crying and prayer, God gave them a wonderful home where they are loved and spoiled as well as blessed me with the comfort of knowing they didn’t have to be separated AND . . . I can still visit them. I know it’s harder for me than them- so that’s good. 🙂

I hope you all know that you have remained in my prayers and continue to as well. Thank you and I pray God blesses each of you abundantly.

Now, months later, God has blessed me with a tiny, new little one to watch over 🙂
God Bless~
Bix

Thanks for the update, I will continue to pray that his recovery is durable.

Now, how about posting a picture of the new little one? I pray the new little guy or gal, as the case may be, will thrive in your care with the protection of St. Francis!

🙂

Thankyou for the update Bix…good news!
God bless

Memorare (Prayer to Our Lady)
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession, was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To you do I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy, hear and answer me. Amen

Great up-date ! ! !

**I haven’t been able to post very often lately, but the prayers never stopped
for those who I am praying for.
So often we never know what happens, this is such a happy story, thank you for telling us.

God Bless Bix**

Bix
Thanks for keeping us with the update! Will continue to keep you and your intentions in prayer.

Bless you, Bix

Thank you for the update Bix. Have you named your new dog yet? May you and your new little one give each other much joy and companionship in the years to come. May God bless you. Amen.

Thank you all for your kind replies! :blessyou:

I’ve really wanted to share the good news of Bix’s health with you all, thank you for your prayers and share the joy of God answering all of them. Sorry it took so long. (embarrassed)
(Part of the reason it took so long for me to write an update was due to my having a difficult time adjusting to Bix and Tallulah (Tootsie or Toots for short) no longer being with me… ) Sorry.

It’s such a miracle that Bix is well and that they have a wonderful home.
I can’t thank you all enough!

I’ve tried to attach a photo of my new little one, but for some reason I’m having difficulty. She’s a darling little bundle of joy! She has made the transition much easier - especially as she keeps me busy! This sounds so silly, but I know God sent her my way! Oh, and that puppy smell!!! She’s now a lil over 5 months and a whopping ten pounds! (I think Bix already weighed 20-30lbs by this age!) Her name is Gabby. She is absolutely adorable! Of course this is a completely unbiased opinion!
Hopefully, I can upload a pic soon.

Many prayers of thanks and much praise to Jesus! Many prayers of gratitude to the Blessed Mother, St Francis and some special angels! Much thanks and many prayers for all of you!

God Bless~

Tuscany, I thought I read a posting months ago about your dog, Sam. (forgive me if I’m confusing this with someone else) I can’t find it now, but he has been in my prayers. Do you have an update?

Bix, if you go to the sandbox forum, I think they tell you there how to post a picture.

Also if you save the image to your picture folder on your computer, click the picture icon above the field here, and attach it to the message, it should appear in one of these boxes.

Personally, I’d love to see pictures of all three of them!

And if you think about it, could you say a prayer to St Francis for my little guy Monty’s separation anxiety issues? I’m going to be going back to work in a few months, and hope the little guy gets some confidence before I do!

Thank you so much for your prayers! I will work on trying to post a pic of my new little one. I’m using an iPad and for some reason cant quite figure it out yet… :o

Your little guy Monty has been in my prayers and I will continue praying for the little guy. He’s lucky to have someone like you to care for him! I’m having the same problem with my little one and she has had a few other health issues as well… I completely feel for you regarding the separation anxiety. If I’m lucky enough to find a job, I don’t know how she will handle it- she … Is extremely attached and will even cry or howl if I’m in another room. So,I understand! 🙂 Many prayers for both of you and much thanks for all your prayers!
:blessyou:

God Bless ~

For Monty and Gabby~

Heavenly Father, our human ties with our friends of other species is a wonderful and special gift from You. We now ask You to grant our special animal companions Your Fatherly care and healing power to take away any suffering they have. Give us, their human friends, new understanding of our responsibilities to these creatures of Yours. They have trust in us as we have in You; our souls and theirs are on this earth together to give one another friendship, affection, and caring. Take our heartfelt prayers and fill Your ill or suffering animals with healing Light and strength to overcome whatever weakness of body they have.

Your goodness is turned upon every living thing and Your grace flows to all Your creatures. From our souls to theirs goodness flows, touching each of us with the reflection of Your love. Grant to our special animal companions long and healthy lives. Give them good relationships with us, and if You see fit to take them from us, help us to understand that they are not gone from us, but only drawing closer to You. Grant our prayer through the intercession of good St. Francis of Assisi, who honored You through all Your creatures.

Give him the power to watch over our animal friends until they are safely with You in eternity, where we someday hope to join them in giving You honor forever.

Amen. :crossrc:
