My dad is being accused by the federal government of something he didn’t do. He’s getting ready to go to court to fight the charges. It feels like we’re facing Goliath.
Please pray for him and for us.
I have faith in God and faith in my dad, but this is so overwhelming.
Please pray that the charges are dropped or that he is acquitted of all the charges he’s facing.
I would be forever grateful and I promise to pay it forward.

You need no promise to me.

Father you are the very truth of justice, i pray for justice for this family, for the benefit of the authority that it not be found unjust.

You promise us if we call for justice you will give it to us speedily.

I pray Father for this family to Glorify you in their time of testing, and plead justice be fast.

Give them strength Father make them and the authority more like Jesus (pbwh) to the glory of You.

May God the Just Judge and Most Merciful One come to your family’s aid at this time. May the truth of this matter come into full light and the innocent spared. I will remember your father and your family in my prayers this evening.

You do not owe me anything, I will pray for you.

Praying from part of a Psalm from today’s Liturgy of the Hours:

Psalm 98 (99)
The Lord our God is holy

Praise the Lord our God and worship on his holy mountain.
The Lord reigns! let the peoples tremble.
He is enthroned on the cherubim: let the earth shake.
The Lord is great in Zion,
he is high above all the peoples.

Let them proclaim his name – great and terrible it is,
let them proclaim his holy name,
the powerful king, who loves justice.
The laws you establish are just:
you have given Jacob uprightness and right judgement.

Praise the Lord, our God,
worship at his footstool,
for he is holy.

(Free of charge)

Our Father Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Amen.

I ask God, to keep you and your Dad and everyone involved, in all my prayers and Masses.
And there is saint, just canonized in October, who was accused falsely more than once, once more seriously than the other. After a time she was cleared. Her name is Saint Mary MacKillop. I ask her to intercede for your Dad;
and that God will help you all through this terrible time.

Praying for you and your Dad… Entrusting you both and your intentions to Our Lord and His blessed Mother.

Jesus, King of Mercy. We trust in You.

We take refuge under thy protection, holy Mother of God; do not despise our prayers in time of necessity, but always free us from all dangers, o blessed and glorious Virgin. Amen.

I would reccomend asking St. Thomas Moore, the patron saint of legal issues, for help with this situation. Don’t be scared! Put your faith in God and He’ll help you, no question. Here’s a prayer by St. Thomas Moore for your issue:

*Give me the grace, Good Lord

To set the world at naught. To set the mind firmly on You and not to hang upon the words of men’s mouths.

To be content to be solitary. Not to long for worldly pleasures. Little by little utterly to cast off the world and rid my mind of all its business.

Not to long to hear of earthly things, but that the hearing of worldly fancies may be displeasing to me.

Gladly to be thinking of God, piteously to call for His help. To lean into the comfort of God. Busily to labor to love Him.

To know my own vileness and wretchedness. To humble myself under the mighty hand of God. To bewail my sins and, for the purging of them, patiently to suffer adversity.

Gladly to bear my purgatory here. To be joyful in tribulations. To walk the narrow way that leads to life.

To have the last thing in remembrance. To have ever before my eyes my death that is ever at hand. To make death no stranger to me. To foresee and consider the everlasting fire of Hell. To pray for pardon before the judge comes.

To have continually in mind the passion that Christ suffered for me. For His benefits unceasingly to give Him thanks.

To buy the time again that I have lost. To abstain from vain conversations. To shun foolish mirth and gladness. To cut off unnecessary recreations.

Of worldly substance, friends, liberty, life and all, to set the loss at naught, for the winning of Christ.

To think my worst enemies my best friends, for the brethren of Joseph could never have done him so much good with their love and favor as they did him with their malice and hatred.

These minds are more to be desired of every man than all the treasures of all the princes and kings, Christian and heathen, were it gathered and laid together all in one heap.

Amen *

God bless!! + I’ll keep you in my prayers.

Memorare (Prayer to Our Lady)
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession, was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To you do I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy, hear and answer me. Amen

Praying for your father, that his legal battle will end in his favor by having it dropped or by acquittal. May God be his strength and yours at this time. Rest assured that we will keep him in our prayers with no strings attached!

St. Thomas Moore, hear our prayers and intercede for us on Beden’s behalf.

PATER NOSTER,
qui es in caelis,
sanctificetur nomen tuum.
Adveniat regnum tuum.
Fiat voluntas tua, sicut in caelo et in terra.
Panem nostrum quotidianum da nobis hodie,
et dimitte nobis debita nostra
sicut et nos dimittimus debitoribus nostris.
Et ne nos inducas in tentationem,
sed libera nos a malo. Amen.

Thank you all so very, very much.
You have truly touched my heart beyond words.
I will remember your prayers and draw strength from them when we go to court on Monday.

God bless.

and blessed is the fruit of thy womb,

pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death.
