Please pray for 3 drowned young men

Please pray for the repose of the souls of three neighborhood young men - 19-year-old Domenico Coluccio, 18-year-old Anthony Dupont, and 20 year old Carlo Milito - who were killed in a boating accident while on a fishing trip in upstate Sullivan County (@ 100 miles north of NYC).

Their small boat capsized and their heavy winter clothing dragged them down as they tried to swim to shore.

Please also pray for 20-year-old survivor Gianfranco Generoso, a cousin of victims Dupont and Milito, and for their familes. All four young men have known each other since they were babies.

Lord,
It causes a surge of thoughts and emotions when a life is taken so suddenly. It causes one to ponder exactly how You will dispense Your judgment.

Despite our pondering, we trust in Your unfailing Mercy and Love! With confidence we pray that your Mercy has extended beyond our short time on earth to try to find You. Please, exert this Mercy and Love of Yours to these children of Yours so that they may be found worthy of Heaven. We have such trust in Your Mercy because Purgatory is a greater proof of Love and that Your judgments are just because You understand that it is hard for a soul to truly, always, find truth amids all the “truths” being offered in this fallen world.

Please comfort and console the families of these Your children, the surviving victim, and all their family and friends. May You comfort them in their grieving and use this as an opportunity to come into their lives in a profound way so that they may find them selves putting all their hope in You!
