Please pray for a dying man

My girlfriend’s best friend’s grandfather is on his deathbed. He could really die any day now; they’re just waiting for the phone call. This man is not a Catholic (at least I would assume. My girlfriend’s friend is Lutheran). Anyway, Protestant or Catholic, he needs our prayers for a peaceful death.

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace.
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is injury,pardon;
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light;
and where there is sadness, joy.

O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek
to be consoled as to console;
to be understood as to understand;
to be loved as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive;
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life. Amen
 
Hail, Mary, full of grace! The Lord is with thee;
blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners
now and at the hour of our death.
Amen

Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name.
Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it as it is in heaven.
Give us this day, our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive
those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but
deliver us from evil.

I will pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy for him tonight.

Thanks for the prayers + Chaplet so far. I’ll keep you guys posted on what happens.

I will pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet tonight, for this grandfather.
 
I am praying for this man.
PRAYER TO SAINT JOSEPH
FOR A HAPPY DEATH
Glorious St. Joseph,
behold I choose thee today
for my special patron in life
and at the hour of my death.
Preserve and increase in me
the spirit of prayer and fervour
in the service of God.
Remove far from me every kind of sin;
obtain for me that my death
may not come upon me unawares,
but that I may have time to confess my sins sacramentally,
and to bewail them with a most perfect understanding
and a most sincere contrition,
in order that I may breathe forth my soul
into the hands of Jesus and Mary.

Amen.
