There was a guy with whom I had belonged to the same online community for many years. We never really became close friends or even formally friends, I guess, but everybody was everybody’s friend and he was a pillar of the community. He was a very helpful, caring person, very keen on the tech and always ready to provide advice. It was his passion that he readily shared. He helped me too several times. He suffered a lot, at a young age, and the final moments of his life were not easy. His name was Aaron, may he rest in peace.

Eternal rest grant unto Aaron, O Lord. And let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace.
Amen.

Eternal rest grant unto Aaron Oh Lord
May perpetual light shine upon him
May he rest in peace

Hail Mary, full of grace.
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb,
Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

Memorare (Prayer to Our Lady)
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession, was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To you do I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy, hear and answer me. Amen

Jesus I praise and thank You for all the wisdom and kindness that Aaron offered others.
I know that You remember every one of his acts of kindness and that You consider them as done to and for You. Welcome him into the fullness of Your mercy,
and bless those whose lives he touched. Comfort those whom He leaves behind.
Thank You Jesus

May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed
through the Mercy of God,
Rest in peace.
Amen.

PRAYER TO ST. ANTHONY
FOR PROTECTION AGAINST DANGER
O Holy St. Anthony,
be our protector and defender.
Ask God to surround us with the Holy Angels,
so that we may emerge from every danger
in the fullness of health and well-being.
Guide our life journey,
so we will always walk safely together with you,
in God’s friendship.

Amen.

EVENING PRAYER # 1
Prayer # 1

Watch, O Lord, with those who wake,
or watch, or weep tonight,
and give Your Angels and Saints charge over those who sleep.
Tend Your sick ones, O Lord Christ.
Rest Your weary ones,
Bless Your dying ones,
Soothe Your suffering ones,
pity Your afflicted ones,
Shield Your joyous ones,
And all for Your love’s sake.

Amen.
