Souls who share my experiences, my sins, and my crosses.

The prayers that leave me with the very best feelings:
are for souls in Purgatory, I don’t know why.

Maybe it is because the Queen of Heaven has such a special
compassion for those who are there.

Maybe it is because I know there are people just like me and you there.
Maybe it is because I know that if I go there, I will be waiting for someone to pray
for me, who is just like me,

O gentle Heart of Jesus, ever present in the Blessed Sacrament, ever consumed with burning love for the poor captive souls in Purgatory, have mercy on them.
Be not severe in Your judgments, but let some drops of Your Precious Blood fall upon the devouring flames.
And, Merciful Saviour, send Your angels to conduct them to a place of refreshment, light and peace.

Dear Lord please show Your mercy and give the graces of acceptance to us ordinary people as we/they die.
Please extend Your graces to all the ordinary souls in Purgatory of Your redemptive sacrifice to all ordinary persons as they die… yet perhaps we are all both ordinary and extraordinary at the same time, as You would not be impressed by earthly honors and fame.
Lord please cleanse and bring the souls in Purgatory rapidly into heaven.
