For Dan and his family

St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle;
be our safeguard against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray.
And do you, O prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God,
cast into hell satan and all the evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen

Loving God,

We lift up intentions each day for the healing of Dan, his return to the faith, and for the changes in his life that will help him prosper in the ways of Your people. We also pray for his family and all affected by his addictions, that they may be healed. O Lord, please hear our prayer.

We pray in the name of your beloved son Jesus, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God for ever and ever.

Amen.

Jesus, I ask You to please help Dan with his problems soon. Will You help things to improve for him and for his family in whatever ways they need. Please let Your light and love fill them and their lives. Please hear our prayers for Dan and for those who love him.

Loving God,

Dan has returned home and is living with his family again. His father has given him a job. We hope and pray that Dan has truly come to grips with the addictions and drug use that caused all of his problems, and we pray for your healing, strength, courage, and hope for Dan and his family.

We thank you for bringing Dan this far and we will continue to pray for Dan’s complete recovery and return to the faith. We also pray for Dan’s family, that they may learn to trust him and love him and help him on his journey of life, while holding him accountable to the path he must take with grace and kindness.

We pray in the name of your beloved son Jesus, the Good Shepherd of your people.

Amen.
