God of love and mercy
You inspired Catherine McAuley
To serve Your Son
By responding to the needs of her time.
Moved by her care for the sick,
We ask that through her prayers
You reach out with Your healing love
And restore Aline to full health.
We ask this in complete confidence
Through Jesus Christ, Your Son.

Amen.

Venerable Catherine, pray for us.

Watch, O Lord, with those who wake, or watch, or weep tonight,
and give Your angels and saints charge over those who sleep.

Tend Your sick ones, O Lord Christ.
Rest Your weary ones.
Bless Your dying ones.
Soothe Your suffering ones.
Pity Your afflicted ones.
Shield Your joyous ones, and all for Your love’s sake.

We place our sick under your care and humbly ask that you grant us the grace to acknowledge your will and know that whatever you do, you do for the love of us. Amen**

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thine intercession was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my mother; to thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me.

O great St. Peregrine, you have been called “The Mighty” and “The Wonder Worker” because of the numerous miracles which you obtained from God for those who have turned to you in their need. For so many years, you bore in your own flesh this cancerous disease that destroys the very fiber of our being.

You turned to God when the power of human beings could do no more, and you were favored with the vision of Jesus coming down from His cross to heal your affliction. I now ask God to heal this sick person whom I entrust to you. Aided by your powerful intercession, I shall sing with Mary a hymn of gratitude to God for His great goodness and mercy. Amen.

Thank you so much for your prayers! May God reward each and every one of you! Aline is awaiting a match for a bone marrow transplant and is keeping positive.

We lift our prayers and intentions for ready’s cousin Aline, and we ask for your mercy, strength, and courage for Aline as she endures this suffering and anxiety in her life. Please grant her strong faith and complete trust in your divine providence. Please also comfort the family members and friends, and help all the medical personnel to show great compassion and practice with great competence as they minister to Aline’s needs and condition.

We pray in the name of your beloved son Jesus, the Good Shepherd of your people.
