God, Father of us all, we ask You to embrace those living in nursing homes with Your love. We pray that they may find strength in times of suffering, comfort in times of despair, and freedom from all anxiety. May the remainder of their days be lived out in peace and comfort, with the knowledge of Your loving grace which awaits them. We beseech, Mary, the Mother of us all, to intercede on behalf of all those living in nursing homes, that God may grant them easy days and nights until they are called home.
We also pray for those charged with caring for those living in nursing homes, that they may execute their duties with love and understanding,

God, we thank you for those who have accepted the sacred ministry to be a caregiver. It is truly one of the most challenging and gratifying opportunities one can undertake. When their vision is clouded by fatigue and frustration, give them respite moments so they will regain new energy to provide the care needed. Help them to provide care with compassion and understanding, when clear thinking eludes their patients. Grant that they may see in each person, Your divine image. May their caregiving be a blessing to those they serve.
