Loving God,

We lift up our intentions for all your children suffering from Alzhelimers and dementia, and ask for your mercy and blessings for each of them, their care givers, and their family members. Lord, please help ensure all the care givers and family members who tend to people in this condition are strengthened for the challenge as they care for what is a shell of the person they know and love. Please help them to treat the afflicted persons with compassion and dignity during these times of great trial and challenge in their lives. We know you love each of us, and will not give anyone more that they can bear, so we ask you to continue to help all of us to share your love with these suffering persons in these most difficult times. Please help the family members to remain united and to respect the care givers who face the greatest challenge in these situations.

We pray in the name of your beloved son Jesus, empowered by your Holy Spirit, who live and reign with you, for ever and ever.

Lord, give them the grace and strength they need.
I pray also for those with Alzheimer’s. May all Alzheimer’s patients be treated with dignity and respect. Amen.
 
Lord, please grant many graces to all souls suffering from Alzheimers and dementia, that they might endure or be healed of this affliction. Touch especially their souls, that they might be counted among the elect, and eventually be seated at the eternal table of joy. Grant many graces also to those caring for them, that they might cultivate joy, fortitude, courage, magnanimity, patience, faith, hope, and love. Draw them through every trying moment toward your Sacred Heart, now unto eternity. Ease the burden of their crosses by the help of holy angels. Send them “Simons” to help then with their crosses, as you had Simon help you carry yours. Shine a foretaste of the heavenly light into their lives in this temporal coil, that they might rejoice at the generosity of God with temperance. Have mercy, Lord. Our Lady, angels, and saints, pray with us. Amen.

I pray for all those with Alzheimer’s and dementia to have a miracle happen so they can come back to us. That includes my mother.
