Please pray for an inmate, P a mother of 5

She certainly could use your prayers. She will be serving 60 months in a State prison. I am confident to tell you that she would very much appreciate your prayers for her sober recovery and for her children.

A relative has 4 of her children and they are appealing for the infant to keep the children together until P returns. She had her youngest baby while in prison about two months ago.

Please wrap them up in prayer, this family of a single mom with her children, and for the people who are caring for the children.
 
Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless, and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible,
look kindly upon us, and increase your mercy in us,
that in difficult moments, we might not despair nor become despondent,
but with great confidence, submit ourselves to your holy will,
which is Love and Mercy itself.

My acquaintance who brought her story to my attention had told me that nearly 10 years ago when he first met her, she was feeding the homeless from her own kitchen. The homeless were living in the park near her home and would come to her kitchen window where she would provide them food, she herself being a young mother and poor herself.

Thank you for remembering those in prison. Sometimes it is a real prison with guards, sometimes it’s a mental illness, and sometimes it’s a person who is chronically ill and can’t leave home.

Father of Mercy, the secrets of all hearts are known to you alone. You know who is just and you forgive the unjust. You alone are the Almighty Judge. We are not worthy of judging anyone. Your mercy is enough for sinners. Hear our prayers for those in prison, especially P, the mother of 5. Give them repentance and let them believe in you. Give them patience and hope in their sufferings, and bring them home again soon. Comfort their near and dear ones, especially the children and family of P. Let them trust in Jesus Christ and live with hope. Amen.

Dear Blessed Mother, as a mother yourself, please especially intercede in this matter of P and her children. Please send your graces to P and her family so that they stay strong through this separation. Please help P to serve her time well so that she can soon be out and reunited with her family. Please watch over her children so they do not despair or fall into bad habits due to missing their mother.
