I’m asking again for your prayers, that I get a job quick,I’m just not making it.I’m on SSD,but with my bills etc. I can’t even afford gas,to get to my Dr.I’m really worried,I think my age has alot to do with it,and I’m so tired of going on interviews getting my hopes up only to sit and wait and pray for a call back,to no avail,I’m getting so discouraged.I know I must keep trying and keep praying,I have to leave it in GOD’s , friends,I know it seems trivial compared to all the intentions, please just keep me in mind at the end of your prayers.

Oh Lady of Perpetual Help,

see to this man’s needs our brother, who is seeking what he needs to make ends meet. Please intercede on his behalf with your Son and ask that he is granted on honorable job to sustain his needs. We come to you our Mother, in this time of need and ask for this daily help. Please ask also for the grace this man needs to endure the wait with Jesus, for our timing is never generally God’s timing. Help him also to have confidence in those talents that God graced him with while in his mother’s womb, and how important they are to our world.

Amen.

My friend, it will be okay.

Bubbie, it is not trivial. I will pray for you. May our Lord bless you with a job and give you peace of mind. God Bless you.

Lord, please help Bubbie find work so that she can fulfill her daily necessities. May you always protect her, and may she always feel your loving touch in her life. Amen. :gopray2:

bubbie- I am praying for you- of course this is not trivial, our poor hearts are troubled when we have financial distess. I am almost in the same boat, having lost my job that I loved last week. Dear God, please lend your ear to the prayers of your children.

Bubbie, I will pray for St. Anthony’s intercession in your search. He has never let down anyone I’ve prayed for when they needed to find work.

You are in my prayers. I really hope you get something soon - let us know if something comes up.

God bless.

Still praying for your job, bubbie. I know what it’s like to be without one. Stay strong!

From today’s Liturgy of the Hours:

Canticle Jeremiah 31

All you nations, listen to the word of the Lord, proclaim it in the farthest islands:
“He who scattered his people Israel has brought them back together. He will care for them as a shepherd tends his flock”.

For the Lord has redeemed Jacob and freed him from the hand of his conqueror.
They will come and sing praises on Mount Sion, they will flood in to receive the good things of the Lord,
grain, and wine, and oil, and the young of both herd and flock.
Their spirit will be like a richly watered garden, and they will hunger no more.

The young girl will dance for joy, young men and old men too.
“I will turn their weeping into gladness”, says the Lord, “I will comfort them and give them joy after sorrow.
I will overwhelm my priests with rich food, and my good things will fill my people to overflowing”.

Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit,
as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be,
world without end.
Amen.

I can understand you getting discouraged. Remember that God has a plan, which does not mean at all that we do not humanly feel and most keenly our difficulties and problems…Keeping you in prayer with St. Joseph The Worker…
