Prayers are much needed for Asia Bibi, a Pakistani Roman Catholic wife and mother of five who was wrongly accused of blasphemy by a group of Muslim women, which led to her arrest and imprisonment in 2009-2010. Despite many efforts made for her release, she is still imprisoned and could be executed, by hanging, at any moment. Asia has been offered to be released on the condition that she converts to Islam, but she refuses to renounce her faith.

Please pray that the Pakistani court will grant her pardon and, if so, that she and her family will be safe from persecution upon her release. In the meantime, may she and her family stay strong in their faith…

Thank you!

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou amongst women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of death.
Amen

Lord, help our Sister to remain strong in her Catholic faith and cling to You and the Blessed Virgin in her time of great need. May she not renounce You, but instead profess her faith boldly before the Pakistani court and thus gain merit for eternal life. Amen. :gopray:

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Loving Father have mercy on Your faithful daughter.
Sanctify her for her faithfulness to Your beloved Son Jesus.
Help her to remain faithful and loving always.
Please touch hearts of her accusers and captors that they will relent from their accusations and judgement.

Just adding my own prayers:

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thine intercession was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my mother; to thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me. Amen.

O God, Heavenly Father, it was part of Thine eternal decree that Thine only-begotten Son, Jesus Christ, the Savior of the human race, should form a holy family with Mary, His blessed mother, and His foster father, Saint Joseph. In Nazareth, home life was sanctified, and a perfect example was given to every Christian family. Grant, we beseech Thee, that we may fully comprehend and faithfully imitate the virtues of the Holy Family so that we may be united with them one day in their heavenly glory. Through the same Christ our Lord. Amen.

Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Amen.

Glory be to the Father,
and to the Son,
and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning,
is now,
and ever shall be,
world without end.
Amen.

Lord, have mercy!

Eternal Father, we humbly offer Thee our poor presence, and that of the whole of humanity, from the beginning to the end of the world at all the Masses that ever have or ever will be prayed. We offer Thee all the pains, sufferings, prayers, sacrifices, joys, and relaxations of our lives, in union with those of our Lord Jesus here on earth. May the Most Precious Blood of Christ, all His Blood, Wounds, and Agony save us, through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary. Amen.

Praying very hard. She has a hearing scheduled with the Supreme Court of Pakistan on December 16th. I think this is the highest court of appeals, so this may be her final shot at avoiding the death penalty. :signofcross:

Prayer to Our Lady of Mount Carmel

O most beautiful Flower of Mount Carmel, Fruitful Vine, Splendor of Heaven,
who brought forth the Son of God, still remaining a Virgin, assist us in this necessity.
O Star of the Sea, help us, and show us that you are our Mother.
O Holy Mary, Mother of God, Queen of Heaven and earth, we humbly ask you from the
depths of our heart to help us in this necessity. There are none who can withstand your power.
O show us that you are our Mother.
O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee.
  • Sweet Mother, we place this cause in your hands. Amen*

Our Father, Who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
