Please Pray for California

[PTL]

I read several reports suspecting a huge earthquake to hit California.
We all know earthquake to California is a matter of when not a matter of if.
Please kindly say prayers for the protection of California. If the earthquake is unavoidable, please pray for God’s mercy to reduce the intensity and damage, and pray for protection for people. Thank you and God bless!

Nothing happens without God permitting it. Be at peace, knowing that God will take care of the world as He always has, and He will not let anything happen to us by accident. Jesus said, “Can any of you, by worrying add a single moment to your life span?” and “Do not worry about tomorrow; tomorrow will take care of itself. Sufficient for a day is its own evil” (Matthew 6: 27, 34). Nothing has happened to California yet. Pray, but do not be troubled. Here is a prayer by St. Teresa of Avila that always helps me in times like these when so much is going wrong in the world:

“Let nothing disturb you,
nothing frighten you,
all things are passing.
Patient endurance
attains all things:
one who God possesses
wants nothing,
for God alone suffices.”

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit; as it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be, world without end, Amen.
