Father, watch closely over Keri, and protect her from all evil. Keep her close in your heart. May she look to you in faith and devotion, to bring peace to her home and her heart.

St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle.
Be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the Devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray,
and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly hosts,
by the power of God,
thrust into hell Satan,
and all the evil spirits,
who prowl about the world
seeking the ruin of souls.
Amen

Thank you Diana Lynn. 🙂 Unfortunately, when I prayed the St. Michael the Archangel prayer with them, she was still terrified however, God quickly answers our prayer by bringing her out of whatever it was that was bothering her rather quickly. 👍

Keeping Keri and her family in prayer.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Thank you Mary ann R. 🙂

Hi everyone. I talked with Keri again today and her parents do not currently want her to go to RCIA this fall. She’s 19 but her parents still have a lot of control over her even though she lives by herself. This is partly due to her having seizures and stuff. Her mom also (according to Keri) said something about her not being allowed to read Catholic books but when I talked to her mom about it and asked her about it, she said that Keri could read the books if she wanted to. 🙂 Please continue to pray for this situation.

Not necessarily bad news, lots of time between now and fall to teach her (and her Mom) about the fait .Will keep her in my intentions…

God bless you, Holly. You are a beautiful witness to our faith. Keeping Keri in prayer…

Thank you for this post Simon. You are right that this is not necessarily bad news but I did not think of it that way at the time that I posted this. Thank you for your insight. 🙂

Thank you Mary ann. I can only do what I do through the grace of God so He gets all the glory. Thanks again.
Keeping your intentions in daily prayer…
Thank you BarbaraTherese. I appreciate your daily prayers.

Anyway, to everyone, I really don’t have much of an update right now. I’ve been gone for the past 24 hours (more or less) and so haven’t really had time to do much. However, I am going to continue working with Keri and her parents. Thank you all for your prayers. 🙂

God Bless you Holly! May the Lord continue to guide you and encourage you in your devotion! May he have mercy on Keri, her family, and all in need of conversion.

**PRAYER TO ST. MONICA

Dear St. Monica,
troubled wife and mother,
many sorrows pierced your heart during your lifetime.
Yet, you never despaired or lost faith.
With confidence, persistence, and profound faith,
you prayed daily for the conversion
of your beloved husband, Patricius,
and your beloved son, Augustine;
your prayers were answered.
Grant me that same fortitude, patience,
and trust in the Lord.
Intercede for me, dear St. Monica,
that God may favorably hear my plea for:

the conversion of Keri and her family, and of all being prayed for here by CAF members,

and grant me the grace to accept His Will in all things,
through Jesus Christ, our Lord,
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, forever and ever.
Amen.**

Hang in there Holly!👍
Thanks SimonX. I am hanging in there as best I can thanks to the grace of God. 😉

Thank you for this prayer Diana Lynn. It is greatly appreciated. 🙂

Praying for you all. I would just keep being nice to them and give them the example of what a good Catholic is.

Hi everyone. I invited Keri and her boyfriend over to watch the Passion of the Christ with me. We got to the part where Simon of Cyrene was about to help Jesus carry His cross. We will continue the movie where we left off tomorrow. 🙂 I explained to them a few things about Catholicism, namely that Mary is our mother and that she remained a virgin throughout her life. They both agreed with this.

I also prayed the Divine Mercy Chaplet earlier today for Keri and another friend of mine who lives in Europe. Thank you all for your continued prayers and advice.

That’s weird, I just posted a thread yesterday on folks watching that film during Holy Week.

Did your friends ever see the movie before? (I still FF thru some parts of the more graphic scenes, hard to watch) but very good…Keep that up with your friends, good see others sharing their faith like you do!

Just thought of this movie, The Exorcism of Emily Rose…Which I think is very Catholic, entertaining, and has one of the best ending I’ve ever seen in films of this genre.

Yes, I think that they have seen the movie before. Anyway, I just want to spread the Catholic faith as Christ has commanded us to do in the Great Commission. It is my life mission to gain converts for Christ.
