Please pray for disabled woman sexually assaulted

Please pray for a woman referred to as “L.K.” She is a woman with cerebral palsy and the intellectual capacity of a three year old. She can only communicate by moving her right index finger.

A deacon at her adult daycare center noticed that L.K. was acting strangely. In asking her what was wrong, it was revealed that her mother’s boyfriend sexually assaulted her. A physical examination conducted immediately afterwards confirmed this.

The court decided she still had enough physical capacity to protest and let her assaulter go free.

Please pray for L.K. and pray that the laws that made this possible are changed so this sort of injustice cannot occur again.

… she had the capacity to resist… a grown adult man… with her index finger, some biting, and some screeching… He even says the woman made her displeasure with the abuser clear…

Why… exactly… have we entrusted the laws of our nation to these idiots?

Praying for the woman, and praying that the judge / people who made this decision spontaneously develop and brain and some common sense, because it seems like they are currently lacking both.
 
I pray that she is guided with Gods Love and Mercy - and I also hope that assaulter gets justice! :gopray:

This is a horrible, horrible story. This is evidence indeed that Satan is alive and well. Since this man cannot be tried again, there is no legal recourse to enact justice. There is, however, divine retribution.

From the diary of Saint Faustina…

1160 When once I asked the Lord Jesus how He could tolerate so many sins and crimes and not punish them, the Lord answered me," I have eternity for punishing [these], and so I am prolonging the time of mercy for the sake of [sinners]. But woe to them if they do not recognize this time of My visitation. My daughter, secretary of My mercy, your
duty is not only to write about and proclaim My mercy, but also to beg for this
grace for them, so that they too may glorify My mercy."

As much as it may pain us, we should pray for this man: first, for his release from the clutches of the Evil One and secondly, that the Lord have mercy on his soul. I will be including this latter intention during my Chaplet tomorrow, as well as for healing for L.K.

Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle; be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray: and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God, thrust into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.
