Please pray for Father George, OSB

Father George, our pastor, experienced blurry vision and other problems on Friday. He was transferred from our local Catholic hospital to another one nearby with better neuro facilities. He had a blood clot removed from his brain Saturday.

Our parish is going through a renaissance, with increases in membership and school attendance. Father George is a big part of it.

So please pray for him as he recovers.

Please also pray for the priests who come to help from our local abbey. The one today was just ordained. He was a very nice young man with great reverence during Mass. I am sure there will be others. Most of the abbey priests are wonderful, but some of them act as if leaving the abbey for the morning or afternoon is a big imposition.

Praying for Father George. My husband had a blood clot in his brain in Feb, 2008 and now has pancreatic cancer (turned out that the clot was a “symptom” of the cancer)…Dear God. Watch over Father George and his caregivers. Give them the guidance and wisdom and skills to restore his health. With Your healing touch, God, your child can be restored to good health. Please send a special angel to be with him at all times. Amen
