Fr. Antony , this gentle and loving priest who has been recovering from his illness these last few months , also entered hospital for a hernia iperation. Although his operation was successful , the hospital discharged him rather too soon , with the result that it has left him very weak , as he also has respiratory problems , So I would ask you my dear friends to pray that Our Heavenly Father will endow him with strength and vitality , so that he will make a speedy and full recovery from all his sufferings …

Lord Jesus , you are the great friend of the sick and you healed them while you were on earth . Grant them once more your healing power and comfort them in their affliction
Come Holy Spirit , strengthen Fr.Antony so that he may find renewed health both in body and soul . Amen .

A Prayer to the Blessed Virgin - ( Never known to fail )

O most beautiful Flower of Mount Carmel , Fruitful Vine ,
Splendour of Heaven , blessed Mother of the Son of God,
Immaculate Virgin , assist me in this my necessity :
for the complete healing of Fr.Antony, and especially from his operation .
O Star of the Sea , help me and show me herein you are my Mother .

O Holy Mary , Mother of God , Queen of Heaven and Earth ,
I humbly beseech you from the bottom of my heart ,
to succour me in this necessity :
there are none that can withstand your power .

O show me herein you are my Mother .
O Mary , conceived without sin , pray for us who have recourse to thee . ( 3 times )
Sweet Mother , I place this cause in your hands . (3 times )
Amen .

Holy Michael , the Archangel ,
defend us in battle .
Be thou our protection
against the wickedness and snares of the Devil .
May God rebuke him ,we humbly pray ;
and do Thou , O Prince of the Heavenly Hosts ,
by the Divine Power of God ,thrust down to hell ,
Satan and all other evil spirits ,
who wander through the world ,
seeking the ruin of souls .
Amen

:highprayer::signofcross:

Heavenly Father, in faith, I thank You for continuing to bless and protect our dear Father Anthony. Thank You Father for speedily healing him. Amen.

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession, was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To you do I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy, hear and answer me. Amen x3

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Pater noster, qui es in coelis: sanctificetur nomen tuum: adveniat regnum tuum: fiat voluntas tua sicut in coelo et in terra. Panem nostrum quotidianum da nobis hodie: et dimitte nobis debita nostra, sicut et nos dimittimus debitoribus nostris. Et ne nos inducas in tentationem. Sed libera nos a malo. Amen. x2

Ave Maria, gratia plena, Dominus tecum; benedicta tu in mulieribus, et benedictus fructus ventris tui, Jesus. Sancta Maria, Mater Dei, ora pro nobis peccatoribus, nunc et in hora mortis nostrae. Amen. x2

Gloria Patri, et Filio, et Spiritu Sancto. Sicut erat in principio et nunc, et semper, et in saecula saeculorum. Amen. x2

May Our Lady Star of the ocean, help Fr. Antony at this time:

Hail, bright star of ocean,
God’s own Mother blest,
Ever sinless Virgin,
Gate of heavenly rest.

Taking that sweet Ave
Which from Gabriel came,
Peace confirm within us,
Changing Eva’s name.
Break the captives’ fetters,
Light on blindness pour,
All our ills expelling,
Every bliss implore.

Show thyself a Mother;
May the Word Divine,
Born for us thy Infant,
Hear our prayers through thine.

Virgin all excelling,
Mildest of the mild,
Freed from guilt, preserve us,
Pure and undefiled.

Keep our life all spotless,
Make our way secure,
Till we find in Jesus,
Joy forevermore.

Through the highest heaven
To the Almighty Three,
Father, Son and Spirit,
One same glory be.
Amen.
(Ave Maris Stella)

God bless,
~Rae
