Please pray for Fr. Beau who was taken to Kaiser with Respiratory Distress

My Brothers & Sisters:

I received this in my mailbox box early this morning from a friend of Fr. Beau’s (identifying information edited out):

*Brethren:

According to an e-mail report I received: "Please pray for Fr. “Beau”.

He was taken by ambulance to Kaiser last night in acute respiratory distress. He was given Holy Unction by Fr. Kelley with Dcn. Yeager assisting.

By the time they left him just after 10 pm Fr. “Beau” looked MUCH better than he did upon arrival. Tests were run, high dose steroids were given, but he will still likely be admitted for further monitoring for at least a day or two."

Thank you for praying…and do keep Fr. Beau in your prayers and Mass intentions.

Fr. Beau has a history of Emphysema and has had difficulty breathing for the last few weeks. He also insists on smoking to relieve stress in spite of the obvious harm this does to him (He did stop for a couple of months but started up again when the some severe stresses “were too much to deal with”).

Please pray that God would heal Fr. Beau of not only this Acute Respiratory distress, but of his Emphysema. Please also pray that God would give Fr. Beau the strength to quit smoking so that he could serve him as a priest.

Dear Lord heal your servant Father Beau of this respiratory problem and heal him of his emphysema. Lord take his addiction to cigarettes away from him and let his stress levels be lowered . Father Beau is a blessing to many in his parish, let him recover quickly. Lord let your servant Father Beau continue blessing many through his helping his parishoners and following your will Father . thank you Father, in the name of Jesus, amen , your brother in Christ, John

Thank you for your prayers on behalf of Father Beau. We know that, “The prayers of the righteous are powerful and effective.”

Fr. Beau is still in the hospital, but his condition is improving. Once again, thank you.

Thank you for your update Michael. Father Beau remains in my prayers.

Heavenly Father, I thank you for blessing Father Beau with your tender love and mercy. Praise be to you and all you continue to do for your humble servant. Stay close by him Lord, and grant him the faith and strength to fight his weakness.

I pray for any physical,mental,spiritual needs of Fr. Beau as well as strength to quit smoking.
