Fr. Michael Sinnott, an Irish priest was kidnapped here in the Philippines by the MILF (Moro Islamic Liberation Front).

The Philippine government rejected the ransom demand of the terrorists.

Fr. Sinnott is 79. He’s sick and weak.

Let’s pray for his freedom.

praying for Fr Sinnott, and also for the kidnappers that they have a change of heart and release this sick and weak man of God.

Wisdom 3:4-8

For if before men, indeed, they be punished,
yet is their hope full of immortality;
chastised a little, they shall be greatly blessed,
because God tried them
and found them worthy of himself.
As gold in the furnace, he proved them,
and as sacrificial offerings he took them to himself.
In the time of their visitation they shall shine,
and shall dart about as sparks through stubble;
they shall judge nations and rule over peoples,
and the Lord shall be their King forever.

Our LORD will not abandon Father Sinnott.

Praying for the safety and release of Fr. Sinnott …

Hail Mary,
full of grace,
the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb,
Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

Dear Lord, please help Fr. Sinnott keep strong spiritually and well enough physically so he can survive this dark night he is enduring. Have mercy on him and grant him a release from his captors soon. Convert the hearts of his aggressors and bring them to repentance and forgiveness. Please help Fr. Sinnott who must be going through a living hell being kidnapped by terrorists. May he maintain his peace and surrender to your will and be spared any serious injuries from the terrorists. Intervene, Lord, and protect your priest from further harm. Help him get released. Thank you, Lord, for hearing my prayer. Amen.

Heavenly Father please protect Your faithful priest from discouragement.
He has given his life to You to offer the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass and to serve Your people.
At present he is Your living martyr in his unjust imprisonment and his illness.
Unite him with Jesus in his sufferings, and purify his spirit in Your sight.

We ask You to touch the wills of those who imprison him to free Your frail, sick priest,
but it they will not, then please ease his difficulties and sufferings with your all-embracing, loving presence.

St Michael, Archangel, please powerfully intercede for Fr Michael…

St. Michael the Archangel,
defend us in battle.
Be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the Devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray,
and do thou,
O Prince of the heavenly hosts,
by the power of God,
thrust into hell Satan,
and all the evil spirits,
who prowl about the world
seeking the ruin of souls.
Amen.

AMEN!!!

Our Father, Who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come, Thy Will be done, on earth as it as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day, our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive
those who trespass against us. Lead us not into temptation, but
deliver us from evil.
Amen

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with Thee.
Blessed art Thou among women,and
blessed is the fruit of Thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us now, and
at the hour of our death.
Amen

Glory be to the Father, to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning, as is and ever shall be, world without end.
Amen

O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of Hell,
lead all souls to heaven, especially, those in most need of Your Mercy.
Amen

Remember, O Most Gracious Virgin Mary,
that never was it known that anyone who fled to Thy protection,
implored Thy help or sought Thy intercession,
was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence,
I fly unto Thee, O Virgin of Virgins, my Mother;
to Thee do I come, before thee I kneel, sinful and sorrowful.
O Mother of the Word Incarnate,
despise not my petitions,
but in Thy clemency, hear and answer me.
Amen.

O Lord, Holy Father, omnipotent and eternal God, I give You thanks and I bless Your holy name. I know I’m a poor miserable sinner but hear a cause that is just, pay heed to my cry, turn your ear to my prayer, no deceit is on my lips. Amen

Continued prayers for your intentions….

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
