My Dear CAF brothers and sisters: Please pray for my dear friend Nancy, who is suffering from debilitating headaches. May the Lord give her relief until she can see her doctor on Monday.

Prayer to St. Teresa of Ávila, Patron Saint of Headache Sufferers

Dear wonderful Saint Teresa,
model of fidelity to vows,
you gladly carried a heavy cross
following in the steps of Christ,
Who chose to be crucified for us.
You realized that God,
like a merciful Father,
chastises those Whom He loves,
which to the worldly seems foolish, indeed.
Grant to all headache sufferers
relief from their great pains,
if this is in accordance with God’s Divine Will.

Amen.

Gracious and merciful Father, please come to her assistance.

Our Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on Earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed are thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

Glory Be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end.
Amen.

**O Blessed Archangel Gabriel,
we beseech thee,
do thou intercede for us
at the throne of Divine Mercy
in our present necessities,
that as thou didst announce to Mary
the mystery of the Incarnation,
so through thy prayers
and patronage in heaven
we may obtain the benefits of the same,
and sing the praise of God forever
in the land of the living.

Amen.**

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

Prayer for a Miracle

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal Nancy. You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into Nancy’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

Saint Theresa

Saint Theresa is the patron of Headache sufferers. Meanings, definition and origins - a patron is considered to be a defender of a specific group of people or of a nation. There is a patron for virtually every cause, profession or special interest. Prayers are considered more likely to be answered by asking a patron for intercession on their behalf.

You realized that God like a merciful Father chastises those whom He loves— which to worldings seems silly indeed. Grant to Nancy relief from great pains if this is in line with God’s plan. Amen.

:highprayer:

Lord, look upon Nancy with eyes of mercy. May Your healing hand rest upon
her, soothing her pain. May Your life giving powers flow into every cell of
her body and into the depths of her soul, cleansing, purifying, restoring her
to wholeness and strength for service in Your Kingdom.
Through Christ Our Lord, Amen.
