St. Michael the Archangel,
defend us in battle.
Be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the Devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray,
and do thou,
O Prince of the heavenly hosts,
by the power of God,
thrust into hell Satan,
and all the evil spirits,
who prowl about the world
seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.

Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.

pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of death.
Amen.

Dear Lord, I pray for Geoff, that the AA classes help break him of his addiction to alchohol. May he find in You and the support at those classes a resevoir of hope and strength to get past his alchoholism. May he begin to find joy in just being sober and a child of Yours with no desire for anything that clouds his mind from knowing the sober truth of Your deep, deep love for him and his love for you. Bless your son with the graces to become a saint through this difficult trial of his and may he never lose hope turning to you for his problems. May he be courageous in his battle against this addiction that keeps him from truly enjoying life as you mean it to be for him. I ask this in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Blessed Saint Gabriel, Archangel
We beseech thee to intercede for us at the throne of divine mercy:
As thou didst announce to Mary the mystery of the Incarnation,
so through thy prayers may we receive strength of faith and courage of spirit,
and thus find favor with God and redemption through Christ Our Lord.
May we sing the praise of God our Savior with the angels and saints in heaven forever and ever. Amen.
