Hi Lily71,

The main thing is to ask God for the strength to help you to keep going through to the other side of grief. Connect with your church where you should get direction towards compassionate people who can help with your grieving.
As grief upon grief was experienced by Job, the one thing that he kept doing was talking to God, staying connected, talking with God through his grieving. Sometimes he gave out stink, why me, what did I do. But he kept talking. That is the key. Don’t remain isolated in your grief.
Trust that God will show you the way and in time you will arrive at the destination of peace.

Pray the Divine Mercy chaplet at a Divine Mercy shrine.
Offer up your prayers for those you’ve lost and the souls in purgatory.
This prayer is also very good :
