please try and find a moment to pray for Gordon who has suffered a stroke after endurung serious stomach surgery, he was healing nicely until this stroke

Have mercy, O loving God,
upon all who have suffered a stroke.
Remove the sudden fear that befalls them.
Endow them with courage in the struggle
to recover what has been lost.
Grant them strength and hope
to envision new days ahead
and a spirit of faith
to take the risk of living fully
once again.
Amen.

Holy Father, please send Your angels to care and watch over Gordon. Bless him with your love and healing, I humbly pray, in Jesus’ holy name. Amen.

Prayer for a Miracle

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal Gordon. You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into Gordon’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

soften those with hardened hearts,
enlighten those who do not yet see truth,
help us be brave enough to let our hurt and anger go,
show us the way to do the right thing,
protect those who are in danger, and guide us from every evil;
may all who keep your sacred commemoration
experience the might of your assistance.

Gordon is stable but has a long way to go to full recovery , prayers are still needed to help him through this

Gordon is still seriously ill after a major stroke he needs continual intensive care still , prayers are still needed for this poor guy and his family who are struggling now for weeks with this tragedy ,
