Dear Brothers & Sisters:
Please pray for Gregory who is having surgery to have his right foot amputated this week - His wife called St. Mary’s and informed us early today that the infection and swelling in his foot had gotten so bad that the doctors over in texas felt they had no alternative but to amputate.
Gregory has Type 1 (Insulin Dependent) Diabetes, is Morbidly Obese and is in his early 50’s. He was also a “Man of God” who has fallen away from the Lord during the last 4 years such that he’s left his parish & the priesthood (I know - Once a priest, always a priest) and stopped attending Mass (He left his parish & the priesthood nearly 2 years ago) and nearly left his marriage (I can’t talk about the details).
This situation requires SEVERAL miracles. Fr. Gregory needs a release from a demonic influence (I can’t go into details), a spiritual healing and reconciliation with God (Both before any physical healing), a spiritual and emotional healing in his marriage, a cure from his Type 1 Diabetes (if possible) and a speedy recovery to health with the ability to accept an artificial foot.
I know what it’s like to go through a traumatic event like this (in my case, it was my acoustic tumor) without God. Let us pray that Fr. Gregory accepts God and His Church back into His life and heart so he can go through this with God.
Thank you for your thoughts and prayers.
Your Brothr in Christ, Michael
