Please Pray for Husband to Find a Good Paying Job

My husband, Bo, is an over-the-road truck driver. He works very hard, is very honest and trustworthy yet he makes a pittance. The trucking industry basically treats truckers like dogs and there seems to be no dignity in it whatsoever as well as no pay. It is only getting worse with the higher fuel prices.

We really want him to find a local job so he can be home rather than out two weeks at a time. We are tired of being apart and tired of struggling financially.

Please pray for him to find a job at home that pays well with good benefits. I have fibromyalgia and arthritis and other things that make it very hard for me to work. For once in our married life we’d love to be out of financial pressure. Our whole existance depends on his work.

Sometimes it seems that he has a hard time finding a job because he is British and the trucking industry sometimes seems suspicious of “Non-Americans” also.

I pray that your husband finds work where he can show his trustworthiness and honesty and be a shining example of God and His holiness for others.

I pray that the Holy Spirit comforts you and holds you during this rough patch and that there will be wonderful news for you soon.

I am a little familiar with the trucking industry. Driving is a very tough job on the driver as well as the family. Will pray for you and your family during these times…

Praying for your husband to find a job that can keep him closer to home. Also praying for you to be relieved of pain so that you too can seek a job to help with expenses.
 
Heavenly Father please find Amie’s husband to find a local job so he can be home rather than out two weeks at a time. Please free them from being apart and from struggling financially. Please do not allow national prejudice to prevent him from obtaining work.

Please grant him a job at home that pays well with good benefits. Amie has fibromyalgia and arthritis and other health issues that prevent her working…please have mercy.

I ask You these things through Christ Your Son.
 
Truckers, teachers, and other wage slaves are the lifeblood of the American economy. When will we all realize this? Everyone is struggling. Thanks Bush - Cheney (not that Kerry would’ve done much better).
