My friend Isabel is 22 years old and was diagnosed 2 months ago with primary liver cancer.
Initially there was a hint of hope that she may recover but we found out last night that she only has a couple of months left at the most and there is nothing more they can do for her.

Please pray for Isabel and her family. Isabel is Christian, not Catholic and is a really wonderful young woman who had a very bright future ahead of her. Everyone is finding this a very difficult time.

Our Father who art in heaven
Hallowed be thy name
Thy Kingdom come
Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven
Save us from the time of trial
And deliver us from evil
Amen
 
Dear Father in Heaven, Please bless Isabel who has received such bad news about her liver, grant her strength to face her trials, grant that this Christian woman will join you and the saints. An Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be and a Fatima Prayer for her intentions. Amen.
 
Loving God please give Isobel and her family ongoing Christian faith and consolation as they process this news, and help each other through the short time remaining together.
Please ease their sorrow and ordeal as much as possible.

Give us this day our daily bread,
Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us.
Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Amen

Please surround Isobel, her family and her friends in Your light and love.
 
Father Almighty, we pray that Your merciful glance rest on Isabel; stay with her and grant her and her family the strength to face this trying time trusting in You. Keep Isabel always safe under Your protective care.

Jesus, King of Mercy. We trust in You.

We take refuge under thy protection, holy Mother of God; do not despise our prayers in time of necessity, but always free us from all dangers, o blessed and glorious Virgin. Amen.

Heavenly Father, your love is so great for Isabelle it is greater than the love she has for herself. Help her to experience your love in a deep and intimate way and transform her into the perfect image of your Son so when she passes from this life into the next nothing will be able to separate her from your love. Please send your Holy Spirit to console and strengthen her and her family and bring them all closer to you and to each other. May Isabelle be detached from this world and all it contains and yearn to see you face to face. Thank you, Lord, for hearing my prayer. Amen.
