Please pray for "J."

Please join me in praying especially for “J” (not his real initial and not present on this forum), a person who regularly expresses significant animosity towards myself and my husband for reasons I can only guess at as he barely knows us. “J” is a good hearted person who has done some good work in an area of service to his fellow man, but just took a big dislike to us for some reason and after several years he has still not let it go. I tend to think he has significant struggles of his own and am praying for him, from a distance, on a regular basis.

I would appreciate it if you could pray for “J” to be happy and find peace of his own and perhaps along the way come to a greater understanding of others including my husband and I. Please also pray that my husband and I have the continued grace and calm state of mind to ignore “J” 's negative remarks and behaviors and instead respond to him in a Christian way to defuse the situation. Thank you.

I will be praying a second Rosary later today specifically for Catholic Answers intentions I have tagged today. I will add this Intention to my list. God bless J.

Our Father, Who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Hail Mary,
Full of grace,
The Lord is with Thee.
Blessed art Thou amongst women,
and blessed is the fruit of Thy womb,
Jesus
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
Pray for us sinners,
Now and at the hour of death,
Amen

Praying that J will rethink his animosity and God will open his heart to a relationship that is friendlier instead of so strained with him

May God grant J peace from troubles and issues that may effect relationships and I will pray for the intentions in his heart.

Mary…

I’m praying for J, for you and your husband. May God relieve J of his animosity and may He help you and your husband behave with charity.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Prayer to Bl. John Fenwick and Bl. John Gavan

Blessed John Fenwick and Blessed John Gavan, you lived in England when it was a perilous time to be a Catholic. Thus you both were implicated in the frenzy that came after the Popish Plot. Though King Charles knew you to be innocent, he still went forward with the charges, commuting them down to simply a hanging instead of also being drawn and quartered. Like Jesus, you were both convicted of a crime though you were innocent and both of you died for your faith.

Blesseds John Fenwick and Gavan, please pray for those of us still in this exile, that we may show the courage and faith that you did. I also ask you humbly to please pray for the intentions posted on this forum, for my family and friends, for people who have asked for my prayers, and for the faithfully departed. On this your feast day, please intercede mightily with God for us, and beg Him to have mercy on our failings, so that despite our weakness, we may join you both in heaven we pray with you through Christ our Lord, and with the Blessed Mother. Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death, Amen.

I believe in God, the Father almighty, Creator of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried; He descended into hell; on the third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty; from there He will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen.

Eternal Father, I offer you the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your Dearly Beloved Son, Our Lord, Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.

For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.
For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.

Adding J. and all other people who cause me or my husband upset to my rosary prayer list for later today. May God bless all of these difficult people and help them, and also help us to learn from the experience of having them in our life or at least to offer up the suffering they cause us, in order to atone for our sins and to save souls and make reparation to Our Lord, who also had enemies and harassers. In Jesus’ Name I sincerely pray. Amen.
