Please Pray for Jeremiah

Please pray for my son’s friend, Jeremiah. He is about 24 and has overdosed on drugs. His mother had to give him CPR and he is now in the hospital. I am not sure of his condition but he is alive. Please pray for this mother and her son. Please pray for all the kids to be free from drugs. Unfortunately it seems that we know so many with problems. Thank you.
 
I don’t know why nobody has replied yet but I will be praying for your son’s friend and all the children involved with drugs. I am a staunch anti-drug advocate. May God help them all.

Lord Jesus, wrap Your arms around Jeremiah and his mom and help Jeremiah come to You and be free from this addiction. In the Name of Jesus we pray, amen.

Thank you all so much for your prayers. From what I heard last night, Jeremiah was in ICU and in very bad shape but today is doing better. I don’t really have details but I know that one of the boys was able to talk to him today and sounds like he is much better.

Please keep praying for his freedom from ALL drugs and for the rest of that group of friends to do the same. I will be honest, as a mother, this drug **** is driving me nuts and I just want them all, my son included, free from drugs of any kind!

Loving Father for sake of Your beloved Son please protect people from these unnecessary great injuries to self and to family that are caused by succumbing to pressure or desire to take drugs.
Please give strength and commonsense to those tempted so that they resist the temptation;
and the wisdom, determination, and means to overcome the addition to those who have succumbed, including this young man.
Please give wisdom, strength, and comfort to their families and friends,
and restore their loved ones to themselves and to their families.

Oh my goodness i have only just found this thread.I am so very sorry BeluvdLily for
your sons friend Jeremiah.I will keep him in my prayers.

Lord please grant healing to Jeremiah please help him and his family at this very frightening
time for all concerned.

Again, thank you all for your prayers. Jeremiah is now home. I think he may be suffering from some nerve damage but not sure if it is permanent or temporary. He is coherent though mentally and the boys have been able to talk to him. I am just so thankful he is alive. I am so against drugs but I sure don’t think anyone deserves to die from bad choices. I believe his mother didn’t go to work that day for whatever reason and that is how she was able to find him and give him CPR. If she had went to work, I believe we may have had an entirely different outcome. It sure seems like Divine Intervention.

I’m continuing to pray for all the kids to turn away from drugs. Just wanted to let you all know that the prayers are working! 🙂 From the shape he was in, it seems miraculous to me that he is alive.
 
Dear Lord thankyou for sparing Jeremiah and i ask You would continue
to place Your healing hand upon him that he may make a full recovery.
Please comfort his worried family and may Jeremiah be able to break
free from his addiction to drugs through Your help.Lord please heal him
mentally of this addiction and may he move forward with his life and live
a fulfilled life with love and purpose.Amen
 
Please continue prayers for Jeremiah. While he is mostly recovered from his overdose as far as I know, he was on house arrest at the time it happened. Since he has been back home he is still making attempts to get drugs and has now been put back in jail due to trying to get his home monitoring device off. He really really needs help and prayers.

I know it sounds like a horrendous mess and I’m not sure why he is like he is (I don’t know him particulary well but he has been to our house previously on various occasions and was a friend of our son) but please please pray for him. While he’s making lots of wrong choices, he is a personable kid and I would love to see him have a future other than the one he is having. I’m sure his Mom could use some prayers too.
