Dear God, Father of compassion and God of all encouragement, today I put my trust in You. Because of my illness and difficulty in getting around, I spend much of my time inside and I am no longer able to move about freely. Even so, I take comfort remembering that You are with me wherever I go. You are close to the brokenhearted, and those who are crushed in spirit You save.
O Lord, draw me near into Your presence today, for time with You is my greatest treasure. In addition, please help me remain connected to and engaged with this world. Help me to realize that each season of life has its own blessings as well as its challenges, and You want me to be thankful and trustful in every circumstance. I offer my sufferings and difficulties today in union with the sufferings of Your Son, Our Lord Jesus, for the sake of the whole world.
O Lord, I thank You and worship You today for the gift of life in all its fullness. Grant me strength when I feel weary, hope when I feel discouraged, and joy when I am downhearted, for You are the Resurrection and the Life. I am confident that I will one day look upon Your face and rest in Your embrace, where no one and nothing shall take my joy. Amen

For the physical, spiritual and emotional healing of Katherine, I humbly pray that You grant my request in Jesus’ name.
